Reporting to our Chief People and Culture Officer, you will be:
- A clear, intentional and visible leader in our culture of decency, empowerment, and insane helpfulness.
- A business-enabling HR leader, partnering with our management team to continue to support doing what is right for our employees.
- A creative, warm leader with exceedingly high emotional intelligence, including global and cultural awareness.
- Able to span the 100,000-foot strategic level to getting into the details of the day to day; i.e. able to build the plane while flying it.
- A true collaborative partner to our People and Talent Team (and all ezCater team leaders) in bringing holistic thinking and action to all of our work.
What you'll do:
- Be a beacon of our culture. You’ll facilitate company-wide practice of our cultural recipe ingredients as well as ensure people output aligns with our company goals and expectations of behavior.
- Be the leader of the human resource vertical of the people function with a focus on both inclusion and diversity.
- Review and make recommendations for improvement of ezCater’s policies, procedures and practices on people matters, all the while keeping culture at top of mind.
- Partner with department leaders and managers to drive people strategies that engage and retain our key talent as we continue to scale for growth.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, as well as responsibility for ezCater’s compliance with country, federal, state and local legislation.
- Consult with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CPCO, on people matters.
- Develop and maintain a human resource information system (HRIS) that meets ezCater’s people information needs.
- Support HR activities, including (but not limited to) employee relations, leaves of absence and accommodations.
- Facilitate development of systems related to performance management, talent reviews, employee relations, employee engagement, and organizational change/optimization.
Ideally, you have:
- 10+ Years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations, with at least 5 years of management experience.
- International experience. We have offices in Paris, France and Vancouver, Canada.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices in innovation, compliance and analytics.
- Organizational development background is ideal; Gestalt OD preferred.
- HRIS early implementation experience; UltiPro experience preferred but not necessary.
