The Director of Human Resource Operations will have the opportunity to lead and facilitate the development of a highly effective, HR Ops function to ensure the delivery of centralized and standardized HR services that is employee-oriented and emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.

What you get to do:

  • Coach, manage and grow a team of Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) focused on delivering quality service and operational excellence
  • Drive value and operational excellence by building and maintaining streamlined and scalable HR systems, solutions, and processes
  • Develop and promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes
  • Ensure clear communication of all HR initiatives across the entire company Drive key operational aspects of merger/acquisition events
  • Design, direct and manage a process of organizational development that addresses issues such as succession planning, talent development, key employee retention, organization design and change management
  • Work closely with leadership to develop, own and implement a progressive and comprehensive Diversity and Inclusion program
  • Effectively manage the annual performance management review process to facilitate in creating a high-performance culture
  • Work with managers to ensure that employees' level of performance and capabilities meet current standards and provide guidance and coaching on performance process
  • Ensure that HRBPs are proactively monitoring employees' career pathing progress and work with managers to support each team members' growth and development
  • Ensures that HRBPs are proactively working with managers to develop positive solutions to employee issues that may arise
  • Research, develop, recommend, write and update or implement various human resources policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines
  • Lead company compliance with all existing governmental and labor legal and government reporting requirements including any related to the EEO, ADA, FMLA, ERISA, DOL, Worker compensation, OSHA, and so forth.
  • Identify new opportunities where HR can add value

What we need in you:

  • 10+ years of HR experience in high growth organizations; at least 5 of those years are in a hands-on HR position with increasing responsibility
  • Possess strong foundational knowledge of applicable state and federal regulatory requirements, principles and procedures in human resources; FMLA, ERISA, FLSA, HIPPA, CFRA, OFCCP, and more
  • HR certification is highly recommended, i.e. SPHR; a bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities, including employee coaching, objective setting and development
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with a positive attitude and flexible approach
  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally and discreetly with extremely confidential information
  • Strong customer service orientation; commitment to customer service second to none
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization; strong written and oral communication skills
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time

1999 Broadway is located in-between Denver’s Downtown and Uptown neighborhoods. Granicus occupies the 36 and 37 floors of the building.
