The Corporate Trainer is an integral part of the success of our company. They will enhance the organizational performance be developing the full lifecycle of learning and development activities from needs analysis through designing, developing, delivering, evaluating, and administrating customized training programs to help Granicus employees develop expertise in a role, improve skills or enhance a specific area of knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and delivers highly effective, results driven, Instructor Led and Web Based training and development programs to new and existing employees on product, processes, procedures, and soft skills applicable to their position
  • Formulates teaching approach and determines the optimal instructional methods, such as individual training, group instruction, web based training, lectures and/or demonstrations
  • Partners with HR and other departments to create and own the New Hire Orientation program for all new hires
  • Develops metrics and a means of measuring the effectiveness of training programs and provides feedback to management and leadership.
  • Develops strong relationships with all departments to gain knowledge of work situations to create effective and relevant content
  • Acts as program/project manager for training. Includes 3rd party consultants and any additional resources brought in to achieve objectives
  • Responsible for making sure all security and compliance training modules are current and that all employees are in compliance; provides necessary reports related to security and compliance trainings during all related audits
  • Manages the LMS and all relevant content, including videos, courses and other training tools for the internal teams
  • Provides recommendations to enhance training programs to help meet company goals

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, curriculum development techniques and group facilitation tactics; able to adapt instructional style to maximize learning outcomes
  • Strong public speaking skills and at ease moderating large groups
  • Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization; strong written and oral communication skills
  • Always a team player
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and a flexible approach
  • Basic project management skills, effective organizational skills, and high attention to detail
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of prior training, teaching, or related Human Resources experience, preferably supporting remote employees and utilizing e-learning solutions
  • +2 years instructional experience, specifically in developing content
  • One or more years of experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) or equivalent eLearning platform
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

Location

1999 Broadway is located in-between Denver’s Downtown and Uptown neighborhoods. Granicus occupies the 36 and 37 floors of the building.
