Overview:

 

Alteryx has an exciting opportunity for an innovative Compensation Analyst.  As a Compensation Analyst, you will be a key part of the Global Compensation team and support our global compensation programs including base pay, incentives and equity. The ideal candidate will be analytical, comfortable with ambiguity and look for creative ways to solve problems in fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and enhancement of Alteryx’s global compensation program
  • Work as a key partner to our business leaders, HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition partners to solve compensation-related business challenges
  • Review and select benchmark surveys, analyze and interpret relevant market data, and develop recommendations for updates to job architecture, salary structures and bonus targets as appropriate
  • Conduct job evaluations and provide salary recommendations ensuring internal equity and market alignment of total compensation
  • Partner with cross functional groups such as human resources, stock administration, HRIS, and finance to understand needs and suggest ways to utilize technology to increase process efficiency across all groups
  • Reviews and makes global salary range increase recommendations by country/region
  • Manage the identification and participation in salary surveys for market pricing
  • Play a key role in the annual compensation review planning process to include merit, bonus, and equity programs
  • Complete audits to check the integrity of the compensation data
  • Stay current with market trends and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as it relates to compensation

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of compensation experience in a global company, software industry a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and data presentation skills
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented, and confident working with individuals at different levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to cultivate strong cross-functional relationships and effectively communicate technical concepts to functional business partners
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest degree of security and confidentiality
  • Excellent analytical and data presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
  • Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Previous experience supporting the Workday application a plus
