Vangst is looking for a Candidate Success Associate to join our team and help us grow our temp staffing division. As a Candidate Success Associate (CSA), you will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates to work temporary job assignments with our cannabis clients across multiple states. In addition to screening candidates, you will work with candidates to create profiles on our Vangst platform, approve qualified candidates, walk through onboarding steps and maintain an ongoing relationship as they work on available projects.  

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, ready to jump on the phone, and work to ensure a positive employee experience for all of our temp hires. If you have a strong attention to detail, interest in the cannabis industry and talent for matching candidates to jobs, we’re looking for you! 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:   

  • Actively recruit GIGs candidates to build a healthy pipeline of candidates. 
  • Monitor candidate matches on the platform and assist when needed to ensure all GIGS are filled with approved candidates. 
  • Screen candidates who create an initial profile on Vangst via phone. 
  • Approve candidates and walk them through the remaining steps for profile completion.
  • Ensure approved candidates complete all paperwork and orientation online. 
  • Achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; and managing relocation.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, and job sites.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Work with CS, Marketing, and Tech team to creatively source new GIGS candidates via in-person activations (career fairs, pop-ups, etc).

Required Experience:  

  • 1-2 years high-volume, outbound calling experience
  • Comfortable with technology
  • Flexible with travel
  • Personable, action-oriented, and hard-working

  • Weekend availability is a must.
  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), and 401k. (Due to COVID-19, employees will have flexibility to work remotely)
