DispatchHealth is looking for an On-boarding Specialist with strong Human Resources and Executive Assistance experience to join our growing People Services team in Denver, CO.

DispatchHealth is looking for an On-boarding Specialist to join our high-growth team of innovative and dynamic individuals. The On-boarding Specialist is an integral role to support DispatchHealth employees across all markets. The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and be committed to working in what is a fast-paced, non-stop, startup environment. A background as an executive assistant is highly preferred for this role. This is a full-time position that would report directly to the Director of People Services

Daily job duties and responsibilities of the On-boarding Specialist will include but is not limited to:

  • Employee On-boarding – Collecting and processing of HR paperwork, medical licensure, administering and monitoring background checks, and inputting new hire into HRIS and other company systems.
  • Manage the new employee on-boarding experience through effective communication by corresponding daily with new hires via phone and email to ensure proper submission of required documents in a timely manner
  • Communicate across multiple departments; keep hiring managers updated on where their new hires are in the process
  • Responsible for managing confidential information to include background, medical licenses, and other pre-employment paperwork
  • Identify potential concerns or “red flags” in candidates that are working through on-boarding process; provide feedback and concerns to the Talent Acquisition team and hiring manager
  • Maintain HR related inbox and answering employee requests and questions
  • Other Administrative/departmental duties as needed

  • Communication - communicates clearly and concisely with staff and leadership by setting high performance standards and delivering leading quality services
  • Work autonomously – ability to take ownership of the on-boarding process and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Customer Orientation - establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations
  • Policies & Procedures - articulates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems; including strong understanding of compliance
  • PC Skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required; ability to quickly learn new PC skills
  • Proficient in HR and on-boarding policies, time management and organizational skills

Education

  • A business-related degree is preferred.

Experience

  • 2-4 years Human Resource experience is desired
  • Experience in Executive Assistance
  • Experience managing executive calendars and scheduling meetings/events
  • Experience working in HR for companies that have a presence in multiple states a plus

Required Competencies, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong customer service capabilities
  • Ability to work full time
  • Experience or education in healthcare
  • Highly organized and task oriented
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with the ability to adapt to new computer systems quickly
  • Excellent and effective time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Work cooperatively, positively and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
