How you will impact OrthoFi
As an Associate Recruiter, the primary focus of this position is to work proactively with our Operations teams to source needs by attracting and hiring the best candidates. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic individual that thrives on networking and enjoys the challenge of finding the top talent. 

As the associate recruiter, you will be in charge of researching, screening, and selecting talented candidates that fit OrthoFi’s hiring need. You will manage and analyze the candidate experience, accompanying the candidates through the process of screening and interviewing and monitoring the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and tools. 

The successful candidate will be a problem solver and will pay extreme attention to detail. We are looking for someone with knowledge of operational positions in relevant fields, as you will be hiring for these positions on a regular basis. You must possess advanced interpersonal skills to communicate with candidates, as well as to interview those individuals. In this role, it is crucial to build strong relationships with our hiring managers as well as our candidates. Within 1 Month You Will

  • Go through OrthoFi Training and get to know the company from a high level view
  • Grasp our recruiting brand and messaging to candidates 
  • Learn our internal and external recruiting process and reporting
  • Understand our recruiting kick-off process for new open roles
  • Meet with our Operations Leaders to understand their hiring needs, candidate profile, team performance and metrics
  • Learn about our Operations roles and shadow each member of our teams
  • Shadowing phone screens, in-person interviews, and culture interviews
  • Work with the Recruiting Manager to understand the expectations and metrics

Within 2 Months You Will

  • Learn our OrthoFi culture and learn our core values and guiding principles
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with product and development team managers to understand position needs and to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
  • Understand the structure of our People Operations team and how each individual contributes towards our company goals
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitude through phone screens

Within 3 Months You Will

  • Effectively source, screen, and interview applicants for required skills and ability
  • Conduct in-depth screenings and assess potential candidates for level of interest, technical skills, qualifications, and compensation
  • Convert hard-to-find passive talent through an understanding of the business and employee value proposition
  • Stay current on market trends and innovative sourcing practices
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote OrthoFi’s reputation as the best place to work

Skill Set

  • A minimum of 1 year recruiting experience or prior sales experience
  • Basic knowledge of operations terminology and concepts, and the willingness to continue to learn about the latest technologies
  • Passion for talent management and business operations
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience working at agency or a high growth start up a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required
