Zoom is looking for an experienced business and product leader to join the strategy function, reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Strategy. In this senior and high visibility role, you will be expected to conceive, contribute and create important elements of Zoom’s go forward strategy and plans. As Zoom evolves to also be a platform, you will identify opportunities and create plans to drive a healthy ecosystem of developers, partners and their customers that can benefit from Zoom’s platform and contribute to its success. This role requires strengths in strategic thinking, business leadership, analytical & problem solving skills, cross group collaboration and executive communication skills. Responsibilities include:
Develop and oversee an empirically grounded view of our opportunity from a market, customer, competitive understanding perspective.
Identify market and customer insights that can be translated into business opportunities using both organic and inorganic (M&A) approaches.
Envision end to end business and product plays, growth strategies that can delight customers, grow ecosystem vibrancy, health and drive business results.
Collaborate across functions including engineering, finance, marketing & sales to both co-develop and drive cross org alignment on the plans to ensure buy-in, shared vision and execution priority.
Delivery of opportunity maps, plans, projections and plays for cross company investment decisions.
Qualifications
10+ years of work experience within or across strategic planning, strategy consulting, product management, finance and business development.
Undergraduate degree in engineering, math, business, economics. MBA strongly preferred.
Exceptional business judgement using strong strategic thinking, customer centricity and appreciation for execution / operational excellence.
Strong numerical fluency, analytical problem solving skills and the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to identify insights and drive high impact decisions.
Demonstrated ability and prior experience in using customer, market and competitive data to create business strategy and connect it with investment initiatives across product and go to market.
Excellent communication, leadership skills with the ability to influence at senior levels without authority to drive executive buy-in and alignment.
