Financial Systems Administrator

Position Description
Create and modify user accounts in financial applications, support system operations and automations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security practices. This individual contributor also coordinates data loads, adjusts accounting system configurations, monitors system operations and marshals resources to solve problems as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Member of the Financial Systems team, working with others to improve our financial automation and processes.
- Configure and adapt Oracle E-Business Suite and other applications to best allow easy use and quick, secure service to Zayo, its employees and its customers.
- Production support for accounting automation and processes
- Will occasionally be required to work outside of normal business hours
- Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic business issues involving Zayo IT functionality
- Develop and maintain data exchange with other internal and external systems.
- Compliance with SOX, CPNI, EDI and general system security standards and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Financial Management, or 5+ years working with financial accounting and reporting systems configuration.
- Proven ability to independently perform report development, testing, change management and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
- Must be comfortable in rapidly changing environment. Keen attention to detail and complex problem solving abilities from operational and technical perspective. Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed.
- Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures, and/or policies. Ability to handle full workload and meet proposed deadline.
- Experience with and grasp of the terms and concepts of accounting systems.
- Understanding of computer security principals and requirements, including PCI, SOX, and CPNI.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Oracle E-Business Suite, Excel and Gmail.
