The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Clerk to join our team. This is an entry level, full-time position that reports to the Treasury Manager. You will contribute to our small Treasury team by processing a variety of transactions including credit card and ACH chargebacks, deposits and assisting with reconciling bank account activity. We process a high volume of transactions so the successful candidate will thrive in a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail. As part of a growing team once your core duties are completed there will be opportunities to participate in additional areas of treasury and accounting.

 

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Record daily bank activity with high degree of accuracy
  • Credit card and ACH chargeback transactions
  • Deposits
  • Various payment types include ACH, credit card, virtual credit card and check
  • Investigate and address exceptions in a timely manner
  • Follow up with external clients regarding payment information, methods, and discrepancies
  • Submit Positive Pay files through Wells Fargo CEO
  • Monitor online banking fraud filter activity
  • Perform follow up tasks, research, and activities in support of other team members
  • Participate in monthly close process
  • Backup and/or support for accounting department tasks as needed including:
  • Accounts Receivable support
  • Processing Patient and Carrier refund payments
  • Company credit card expense review
  • Create and update procedures
  • Other projects as needed

Qualifications

  • 1 year of related experience
  • Related coursework
  • Experience with online banking systems and/or payment processors helpful
  • Volume data entry with high degree of accuracy
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Intermediate Excel

Compensation: $16-20/hour

Work Authorization: You must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
