Payroll Tax Resolution Associate
If you love researching, finding out the “why” behind problems, and providing exceptional customer service, Tax Resolution (aka: TaxRes) is the place for you! We are seeking folks who are passionate about working with customers and learning payroll with a focus on tax notice support cases. You'll act as a detective and problem-solver discovering payroll discrepancies, researching tax laws and identifying the root cause of account problems. This position is very hands-on, with an emphasis on research and analysis, excellent communication skills, and a high level of professionalism. A strong work ethic and a strong desire to be part of the team is critical for success. You must also possess and take pride in a high attention to detail, organization and task management, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business environment. TaxRes is a member of the Customer Operations team, which is at the core of our business. Customer Operations exists to ensure impeccable delivery of key customer needs. There are thousands of critical operational tasks that are completed for customers accurately and on time, every time, in a proactive and scalable manner. Our spectacular Tax Resolution team is a key stakeholder in company decisions and operations. It’s a small, tight, fun group that works hard and laughs a lot. No egos here — we collaborate and help each other out in a positive environment.
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Research state and federal notices that our clients receive
- Build out our physical mail process to best assist our customers
- Work cross-functionally with our Care Advocate, Tax Operations, and Compliance teams
- Maintains relationships at the federal, state and local levels to aid in client service.
- Provide exceptional service to our customers
