Zoom is growing its finance/tax team to meet the demands of a changing tax landscape and growing company. The Tax Controversy Lead will play a critical role in supporting the company's expansion.Reporting to the Head of Tax, the Tax Controversy Lead will have extensive experience managing audit activities, particularly for companies in the technology/communications industry. He or she will manage global direct and indirect audit matters.The Tax Controversy Lead will:
- -Manage audit activity at the US federal, state, and foreign levels, including interface with tax authorities and ensuring responsiveness to information document and other requests
- -Partner with internal tax and non-tax specialists whose input may be needed for audit matters
- -Monitor and provide input to any external providers involved in handling audits at the local level
- -Rationalize and bring process to managing/tracking audit activities
- -Provide input to any financial reporting implications of audit activity
- -Monitor trends and guidance that may impact the audit process in a given jurisdiction
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience
- Management roles in a global accounting firm advising technology clients and/or in a multinational technology company
- Experience in tax matters relevant to companies in the SaaS and/or communications space
- Strong project management and detail orientation
