Do you want to play a role in global commerce?

Our SEC reporting team oversees the external reporting (Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and 11-K) for Prologis, a large multi-billion dollar global Real Estate Investment Trust listed on the S&P 500. We present the financial results and operating metrics of our global business to external users such as investors, banks and our peers through our filings. As the Supervisor/Manager, SEC Reporting, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing external and internal financial information and key metrics for our required reporting. You will be given the opportunity to interact with various internal teams and manage multiple assignments in a complex and fast-paced environment. You should have a strong background in SEC reporting, demonstrated leadership ability, superior analytical and decision-making skills and a desire to learn and develop others.

 

Here’s how to do that

  • Review consolidated financial statements, footnotes and management’s discussion and analysis, along with quarterly earnings releases filed with the SEC
  • Review and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules for reporting to internal management
  • Coordinate with global accounting teams and other departments to obtain information needed to complete and review filings, analysis and other ad-hoc reports
  • In charge of the disclosure checklist and XBRL prepared by a third-party provider for 10-Qs and 10-Ks
  • Oversee the global reporting of derivative financial instruments and cash flow
  • Review the work of a supervisor, senior and staff
  • Support the external auditors during audits and interim reviews, including the coordination of requests and the flow of information and documentation
  • Perform technical research on proposed accounting and disclosure requirements and draft SEC reporting memos
  • Assist with registration statements, debt and equity offerings or other public filings as needed
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

 

Tell us if you’re ready.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, five to six years of public accounting experience or SEC reporting experience (minimum four years of public accounting)
  • CPA license required
  • Extensive working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC regulations
  • Ability to effectively set priorities, manage multiple tasks and reporting deadlines under pressure and produce a quality work product
  • Proven leadership skills with a desire to develop and grow team members. Supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across multiple functional and business groups (oral and written)
  • Demonstrated analytical, process improvement, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • High level of detail orientation and accuracy
  • Advanced proficiency with Word and Excel and a working knowledge of general ledger systems and reporting tools preferred.
