Stock Plan Administration Manager - Remote (Nationwide)
The Stock Plan Administration Manager oversees the global administration, communication and compliance of Workiva equity grant and/or purchase programs company-wide. In this role you will analyze and communicate performance of equity plan and grant practices to executive staff and internal stakeholders. You will evaluate best practices and developments in applicable laws to drive changes in equity plan design and implementation globally.
What You'll Do
Responsible for the day-to-day activities in administering the global equity program including all aspects of record keeping, reporting, compliance, and reconciliation
Manage and process equity transactions in compliance with current US and international rules and regulations, SOX controls and governing stock plan documents
Lead efforts with Payroll, Accounting, HR, Legal, brokers and transfer agents to ensure the integrity of the stock administration system meets company needs and expected outcomes
Reconcile plan reserves, transactions, termination dates, tax withholding and reporting
In conjunction with internal partners, develop reporting and internal review processes and systems, employee communication and education programs, and grant recording and tracking mechanisms
Partner with and provide insights to General Counsel to administer Insider Trading Policy, Trading Windows and pre- clearance requirements
Manage and oversee proactive and ongoing communication of plan provisions to all levels of the organization as part of education initiatives
Create intuitive support structures and mediums to address and resolve employee issues or concerns
Create, maintain, update procedure documents for global practices with an eye for continuous improvement in accordance with industry best practices and standards
Oversee compliance with statutory reporting and filing requirements in all countries Workiva operates in
Point of contact for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting across the enterprise
What You'll Need
Education
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience
4+ years of prior experience in public company stock administration
Shareworks by Morgan Stanley experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of mobile employee compensation issues strongly preferred (both international and domestic)
Experience working in a global public company environment on equity taxation, reporting and compliance strongly preferred
Education
B.A./B.S. degree in business, accounting, or finance is required
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 2 certification is strongly preferred
Skills
High level of proficiency with equity and spreadsheet software
Ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential information
Strong quantitative and problem solving skills and a high attention to detail
Highly developed audit and compliance skills
Ability to communicate with all levels (including executive management and Board of Directors) and explain stock option, restricted stock units, and employee stock purchase plan
Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to compensation programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and presentation skills
Knowledge of global equity best practices and applicable laws

Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You'll Be Rewarded
Base Pay Range in Colorado: $98,000 - $132,000
A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
