Havenly, Inc. is a funded and fast growing consumer services startup, located in the heart of Denver. We offer online interior design services that make decorating your home simple, affordable and accessible for everyone.

We are currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team in Denver. In this role, you will work closely with the leadership team to drive growth, seek process improvements and manage accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, Designer Payments and Expense Reports. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated and takes initiative to analyze financial performance, and investigate and correct potential weaknesses. What You'll Do:

• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable and expense reporting processes
• Prepare and post standard journal entries
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Assist with and research contract designer inquiries
• Assist with audit preparation
• Draft processes and procedures for assigned responsibilities
• Perform various ad hoc projects as assigned by the Controller
• Not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and dig in when and where necessary.
• Will report directly to Controller

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent technical accounting skills
• 0-1 year accounting experience (Internship experience is ideal)
• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize work
• Able to work with all levels of management and staff within different departments

Additional Details:

• This is a full-time exempt position headquartered in Denver, CO.  While we are all currently working from home until at least August, our goal is to eventually return to our beautiful Denver office and collaborate in person on a hybrid work from home and work from office model
• Targeted compensation range for this role: $50-55K/year, dependent upon experience.
