As a Staff Accountant, located in our corporate offices in Broomfield, CO, your primary responsibility will be for general ledger areas including Cash, Prepaid Assets and Fixed Assets worldwide in Oracle. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of on-the-job performance, enjoys learning new areas of accounting and has a desire to excel in our rapidly changing environment. Responsibilities and experience for this role will include but not be limited to:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare and analyze related general monthly accruals including both recurring and one time operational expenses
  • Responsible for timely balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis for responsibility areas
  • Lead in driving system (Oracle) and business process improvements for areas of responsibility
  • Propose and implement process improvements for areas of responsibility
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls over areas of responsibility

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in accounting or finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including problem identification and analysis

REQUIRED ABILITIES AND INTEREST

  • Ability to work in a fast pace and high-growth environment and be willing to “roll-up her/his sleeves” to lead organizational change with a positive attitude

  • Enterprise/team-first mindset
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

“PLUS” EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience in a large ERP system (e.g. Oracle, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards)
  • Information systems and database understanding
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with software or subscription-type businesses
