Sr. Revenue Accountant

This position reports directly to the Directorof Revenue.
This position will be responsible for:
- Performing Deferred Revenue account reconciliations
- Performing Deferred Revenue rollforward calculations
- Help with the monthly revenue reporting process
- Process month end Journal entries related to revenue accounts
- Work closely with Director of Revenue and FP&A team to perform trendanalysis, analytical reviews related to revenue
- Generating royalty calculations
- Preparing monthly commission accrual journal entries
- Reconcile Commissions general ledger accounts and research/resolveresulting reconciling items
- Processing royalty payment requests
- Interacting with business partners
Skills Required for this Position:
· Bachelors degree in accounting orrelated field required
· SaaS Software experience preferredbut not necessary
· Strong grasp of revenue managementtheory and concepts
· Strong Analytical skills toidentify variances and problem areas
· Ability to organize and prioritizeworkload and meet deadlines
· Coordinate communication with andresearch inquiries for business segments
· Participate in annual audit byproviding relevant support for testing selections
· Intermediate to advance skillswith Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft excel ( including abilityto generate pivot tables and write simple excel formulas)
Other Important Abilities:
· Two years of work experience in arevenue accounting role is a preference but not necessary
· Having an open mindset, goodlistening skills and willingness to incorporate best practices is a big plusfor this role
· Being a team player vs anindividual performer
· Being comfortable with changeresulting from the need to incorporate best practices
· Strong communication skills andability to make presentations in meetings
