About the Role
The Sr FP&A analyst will have an excellent combination of innate curiosity, problem solving, and the ability to communicate financial results in clear, concise terms. The role focuses on analysis and reporting of our financials to the Director of Finance and our business leaders. In addition, this individual will help support various aspects of the close process and help prepare our monthly financial results and budget analysis. The role requires the Sr Analyst to communicate cross functionally with all levels of our talented staff as we wear many hats and support many teams. Therefore, the need to communicate effectively to each audience is key.

As the Sr FP&A Analyst you will have opportunities to partner with members of the OrthoFi community at all levels of the organization and will need to be comfortable and adaptable with our audiences. You will be given opportunities to function autonomously on some projects and need to be internally disciplined to deliver results. Ideal Candidates for this role will possess some of the following key characteristics: financial background that includes budgets, forecasts, and financial modeling; experience creating in the “white space”; a genuine desire to build cross-functional partnerships; and a customer service oriented mind set. Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Traditional month end close activities including, financial statement consolidation, reporting, and budget/forecast variance analysis
Monthly department reviews with the budget leads
Monthly revenue forecast process, provide analysis and updates
Weekly metrics and analysis reporting for the leadership team
Operational resource planning and reporting
Supporting annual budget and strategic planning efforts
Support various modeling exercises
Various month end activities to support the Accounting team during close
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2-5+ years of FP&A experience
Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and budgeting analysis
Quickbooks experience a plus AND other ERP packages as well
MS Excel advanced skills - Pivot, Formulas, Macros, and
Proven experience analyzing data and using findings to craft a story
Intellectual curiosity and creativity
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail
