We are looking for a high performing, results oriented individual to join our FP&A team! The primary role of the Sr. Financial Analyst is to provide extensive business partnering and financial support to the Marketing organization. You will oversee financial planning, forecasting, management reporting and decision support for the Marketing leadership team. This is a cross functional role, where you will partner with multiple functions including Accounting and Corporate Finance to deliver accurate financial forecasting, meaningful performance updates, and business improvement / insights. Comfort in a fast paced, dynamic business environment, excellent communication and analytic skills, and comfort with data are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance business partner to the Marketing organization
• Build deep business partner relationships across the organization, establishing trust and gaining an understanding of relevant business drivers
• Partner with cross functional teams to manage headcount, marketing programs, and discretionary spend
• Develop and maintain annual Marketing OpEx budgets
• Manage forecasting and close processes (monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts, scenario modeling)
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management
• Develop financial models to help drive strategic business decisions
• Partner with the Marketing and Data Science teams to develop Marketing KPIs to provide insight into ROI on Marketing investments
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and manage interdependencies on other company process to recommend scalable long-term processes, architecture and systems
• Be results and service oriented and have the ability to make progress with incomplete information

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a strong knowledge of Accounting principles
• 4 - 6 years of relevant FP&A experience
• Highly analytical with attention to detail
• Experience building financial and decision support models, along with strong analytical, problem-solving skills
• Great organization skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated ability to be effective with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain complex issues in an understandable way
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Previous R&D and Infrastructure Finance experience, preferred
• Experience with SaaS-based planning tools (i.e. Anaplan, Adaptive), preferred
• Previous Enterprise SaaS experience, preferred
