What You Will Do in This Role:

Reporting to the Manager of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in the forecasting, reporting and analysis of company financial results and tracking against budget and other key performance indicators. This role will work directly with management to provide relevant reporting and analysis to assure management has the information and tools needed to properly track company performance and guide future planning decisions. 

This position provides an opportunity to learn a variety of skills within FP&A, to be exposed to many areas of the business and interact with department heads. Your work will have a direct impact on the success of the company.

  • Provide management with timely, accurate, and useful financial reports and preparation of financial presentations to support management, as required.
  • Play a key review and support role in the preparation and consolidation of the annual budgets, and in periodic re-forecasting of financial results and cash flow. Analyze trends in revenue, expenses and key performance indicators. Assist with compilation and analysis of consolidated budgets and long range plans.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information.
  • Define financial situation by completing quantitative analyses and evaluate optional plans by identifying outcomes and potential returns.
  • Prepare financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
  • Recommend financial actions by assessing options in relation to organization goals.
  • Possibly develop and analyze pro forma profit and loss statements for new business proposals as well as be part of meetings with department heads.

 Skills and Experience we’d like you to have:

With a financial background either in accounting or finance and a full understanding of the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statement, you must be familiar with financial reporting systems, in addition to possessing excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Well organized to handle multiple sets of data and use critical thinking skills to create efficient reporting with the ability to effectively communicate with other accounting and financial personnel in the units to answer questions and coordinate data corrections and changes.

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 4 - 8 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
  • Good working knowledge of corporate accounting and finance principles.
  • Prior analysis experience with knowledge of general ledger structures helpful.
  • Budgeting and reporting experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • FP&A experience
  • MBA or CFA
  • Experience with Oracle.
