We seek a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst to join our award-winning team! If you love the idea of working with a super-talented group passionate about building products that make meetings better for everyone, please keep reading:  Mersive Solstice helps teams collaborate much more effectively by allowing anyone to bring their own devices and apps to meetings and share content concurrently.  The Financial organization is going to grow substantially over the coming months; we have some exciting initiatives spinning up in which we need a Financial Analyst expert to join the team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Significant Data experience – an ability to draw from multiple sources of data to extract, organize, analyze and report on various financial, product and sales related topics
  • Proven ability to improve current reporting to increase timeliness, accuracy and frequency
  • The ability to organize, prioritize and own multiple tasks while meeting and/or exceeding deadlines in a fast paced, ever changing environment
  • Continuously looking for and identifying opportunities in the business and presenting recommendations to leadership – often preparing ad-hoc business modeling and data analysis to support operational and strategic decision making – must be able to present to all levels of leadership
  • Prepare monthly reporting, KPIs, annual budgets and strategic plans
  • Assist in month-end close and reporting
  • Administer strategies and initiatives tracking system
  • Work directly with the VP of sales on sales department reporting and analytics needs
  • Reports to the VP of Finance, but works across the organization
  • Other duties as assigned – we still consider ourselves a startup – there will be “other duties”

Required Education, Experience, Skills:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or comparable degree
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – must have expert Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation skills and analytical skills
  • Significant ERP experience – NetSuite and implementations a plus (will be a key player in an ERP implementation this year)
  • Ability to work on multiple, complex projects, simultaneously with frequent interruptions and see them to completion with limited supervision and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
