In this role the Senior Financial Analyst will support the Decision Support Finance group and play a key role in the management of Western Union's financial planning, investment decisioning and analysis requirements. The Senior Financial Analyst will also serve as liaison with corporate functions such as CFO, HR, Legal, Compliance, including other Finance teams. They will assist the Senior Manager Corporate FP&A, Decision Support Finance with the monthly close process, financial modeling, and financial analysis. Addition focus areas include communications around status and updates to specified initiatives, preparing business models for investment analysis and routine business cases, and ensuring alignment with business partners regarding overall objectives and areas of focus.
For such a role, the Senior Financial Analyst will need to be degree educated or equivalent in Finance, Accounting or a related field. They will have 4-6 years of progressive financial modeling experience along with strong analytical experience. They will be required to have experience collaborating with team outside of FP&A or Finance and strong leadership and communication skills. Must also have strong Excel skills and proficiency in analyzing large datasets. Essbase experience a plus.

The annual gross base salary range is $ 71,192.21-$121,476.45 USD. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
