Job Description
The Opportunity: Vendavo is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team as an FP&A business partner. Working across all levels of the organization, you’ll be responsible for managing all financial aspects of your partner teams, including established and ad-hoc reporting, the monthly financial close, and consolidating this work into insightful analysis to help influence strategic decision-making. This position reports to the Director of FP&A.
- Be a highly visible Finance business partner with key stakeholders across the company, including senior executives
- Partner with business unit and FP&A stakeholders to create annual/quarterly OpEx budgets, manage actual performance to budget, and explain variances
- Own critical reporting on key performance indicators as a content expert and provide guidance to help drive Vendavo’s success
- Manage the month-end financial close process for your partner business units
- Contribute to presentations for senior executives and the Board of Directors
- Assist in ad-hoc analysis as needed across the organization
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill sometimes ambiguous data to help identify business problems and deliver creative solutions
- Experience partnering and working with senior executives in a complex environment
- Ability to anticipate potential questions and issues, and influence senior management decisions
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail with the ability to self-start, multitask, and meet deadlines with accuracy
- Experience with Salesforce, NetSuite, OpenAir, and Adaptive Insights are desired, but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in FP&A
