SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST, FP&A

Travelers Haven, one of the nation’s fastest growing corporate housing companies, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to lead the FP&A function. We are searching for someone highly motivated and analytical to support a variety of planning, budgeting, modeling, and analysis functions. This position will report directly to the VP of Accounting & Finance, with room to grow to a Manager position after proven results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create the FP&A function at Travelers Haven and Hotel Engine, two rapidly growing tech companies in the corporate lodging space.
  • Assist the VP of Accounting & Finance in running the annual planning/budgeting process, including modeling the balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet and P&L variance analyses.
  • Create detailed sales models by working with cross-functional leadership.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to identify KPIs that drive success.
  • Assist the accounting function with the monthly close and related analysis.
  • Prepare financial models to assist with strategic decisions, including profitability, margin, M&A activity, and other.
  • Assist accounting team in implementation of various NetSuite functionalities and accounting software to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work on special projects and ad hoc requests as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA is a major plus
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced user of Excel
  • Netsuite experience a plus
  • Self-starter: ability to resolve issues independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent presentation skills
