The Treasury Analyst will be an integral part of the Capital Markets team within Corporate Treasury and assist in the development and execution of plans to maximize System access to capital, safeguard assets, and manage financial risks. The role provides significant exposure to capital markets, global funding and cash management, currency and interest rate risk management, bank relationship management, as well as exposure to the perspectives of shareholders, creditors, and rating agencies. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will interact with a variety of functions within and outside of Treasury, including the Corporate Accounting Group, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations and Finance Leadership.

 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare Quarterly Debt Covenant calculations and assist with ongoing debt compliance
  • Partner with Corporate Finance and Treasury teams on cash positioning, forecasting, and debt management and development
  • Support capital structure planning and analysis through financial modeling and scenario analysis
  • Prepare the Company’s monthly Interest Rate and Debt Covenants Forecasts
  • Assist in the management of relationships with global banking and financial product suppliers
  • Coordinate annual insurance renewal process information requests
  • Assist in the production of Treasury related board and investor relations presentations.
  • Support other Treasury and cross-functional projects as needed

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting
  • 4+ years of prior work experience in corporate finance, FP&A, banking or public accounting.
  • Experience leading projects independently
  • Mastery level in MS Excel, Advanced in MS PowerPoint & Word
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA)
  • Strong understanding of financials including Income Statement, Balance Sheet & Cash Flows
  • High degree of business acumen to provide decision support
  • High degree of technical and analytical capabilities to develop financial models and solutions
  • Experience working in the context of a large, complex, geographically-dispersed organization
  • Continuous improvement attitude with ability and confidence to make recommendations
  • Ability to quickly synthesize disparate data and provide actionable information
  • Highly responsive, leveraging ability to multi-task, work efficiently and meet tight deadlines
  • Energetic with a proven ability to work autonomously and quickly adapt to change
