We are seeking an experienced, data-driven, and organized individual to take on the new role of Senior Director of Revenue Analysis, reporting directly into our Chief Data Officer. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of senior level sales & marketing planning leadership experience combined with a financial background.

The Senior Director of Revenue Planning and Analysis partners and provides leadership across our Sales and Marketing organizations to develop and manage the financial planning, performance management, unit metric analytics, and reporting function. You will bring deep planning and financial experience to mature the sales financial planning and analysis processes, partnering with financial leaders to drive end-to-end agile planning. You will also create and lead programs that uncover revenue growth opportunities, while driving operational processes and measurement that support continuous improvement across the entire revenue function.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Act as a key business partner to finance leaders and sales leadership
  • Establish and mature processes related to sales and revenue budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis in a high growth SaaS business
  • Lead and coordinate the sales budget/forecast process in partnership with business leaders to deliver results aligned with strategic objectives
  • Analyze sales and revenue financial results, providing insight and analysis to support the business in making strategic decisions
  • Develop and oversee monthly sales and revenue operational reporting package for the executive leadership
  • Conduct analysis of key business drivers, unit metrics, trends, and performance indicators to provide value-added inputs to help decision making in executing strategy
  • Implement processes, systems, and tools that improve and streamline the sales and revenue operations reporting and forecasting processes
  • Contribute to the growth and culture of Revenue Operations, Finance team, and company as a whole
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis and reporting as necessary, including supporting the leadership team and board

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • •Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to translate technical information in a non-technical format for multiple levels of leadership
  • •Ability to operate with a high sense of urgency and ownership
  • •At least seven (7) years of experience in a Sales and/or Revenue Operations and Planning leadership role managing and developing people; specific experience in a revenue and/or sales planning capacity, developing and maturing unstructured processes into a center of excellence function; finance background preferred
  • •Experience with recurring revenue or subscription revenue models with a SaaS or IaaS companies in the high growth stage
  • •Superior inquisitive and analytical mindset with an innate ability to proactively identify trends and provide recommendations
  • •Proficiency with return-on-investment analysis (IRR, NPV, LTV/CAC, cohort analysis)
  • •Experience with scale and global complexity, as well as experience supporting multiple lines of business with a variety of complex products and ancillary revenue streams
  • •Self-starter who is able thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines and changing priorities
  • •Proven track record of breaking down and solving complex problems with impeccable business judgment; ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
  • •Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams
  • •Experience leading cross functional initiatives
  • •Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, cultivator of collaborative working relationships with teams across a diverse organization
  • •Strategic consulting on business strategy and business analysis experience
  • •Understanding growth drivers and can articulate trends in churn, upsell, down-sell, etc.
  • •Successful track record as a leader driving operational excellence with leadership skills and an ability to inspire direct reports and cross-functional teams
  • •Expert in BI tools and CRM systems (such as Salesforce & PowerBI)
  • •Strong project management skills

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.S./B.A. degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $140,000 or more depending on experience #LI-HK1

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
