Zayo is looking for a leader to build world-class Financial systems. This is a unique opportunity that will enable Zayo’s rapid growth and support our Finance strategies.
Lead the Financial Applications Team in supporting, maintaining and enhancing its global technology solutions. Responsible for providing strategy and guidance for the integrity and operations of computer applications and computerized information used by multiple entities' Financial organizations.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for successfully managing and executing the annual financial application project plans for upgrades and enhancements to the ERP and Planning platforms.
- Manage resources and deliverables to ensure the successful completion of multiple projects running simultaneously while balancing day to day support requirements.
- Partner with the Functional Leadership teams within multiple Functions to identify opportunities for enhancements and process improvements to our Accounting, Finance and Planning functions.
- Conduct stakeholder meetings with a forum to discuss ongoing financial application and business initiatives, project statuses, and application enhancements to support Business Objectives.
- Ensure that ERP and all system data integrations are maintained and optimized to guarantee the highest level of data integrity, accuracy, and performance across all supported entities.
- Manage leadership teams and 3rd party resources supporting the multiple organizations during the annual Budget, monthly Forecast cycles and monthly Accounting closes as well as all daily operations.
- Ensure that associated applications are maintained, loaded, and seeded in a timely manner, troubleshooting any issues and minimizing any disruption to end users. Proactively react to business or process modifications to support business changes and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with IT Apps and Infrastructure leadership to ensure they understand competing project deliverables, timelines, and constraints. Collaborate with IT Leadership to ensure successful completion of both financial application and Infrastructure projects.
- Responsible for defining and communicating the strategic roadmap and future state of other affiliates to ensure maximum return on technology investments.
- Validate against industry benchmarks and best practices within current applications. Provide project timelines, resource requirements, and budget estimates to support governance requirements as needed.
- Negotiate contracts/SOWs with third party implementation partners and managed services resources to agreed upon SLA's.
- Lead and manage entire Financial Applications Support staff including professional development opportunities and career growth.
- Establishing team and individual performance metrics and SLA's to support service levels for all entities servicing.
Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required
- BS in Computer Science or Accounting or equivalent experience. Advanced degree (MS, MBA) desirable.
- 10 plus years' experience with accounting and finance systems, with support and development experience.
- Proven success managing the complete end-to-end software development lifecycle for Enterprise Performance Management or ERP system implementations, including Oracle eBusiness Suite, NetSuite and Hyperion Planning.
- Experience with solutions such as Coupa, Blackline, Tableau are a plus.
- Project Management, Oracle EBS, NetSuite, Fusion
- P2P Solutions such as Coupa, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, SmartView, PL/SQL, Informatica.
CO base pay range: $170,000 - $220,000
