About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for helping to drive the quality of financial data within OrthoFi. The Analyst is the strategic partner and subject matter expert for accounting and financial reporting for Product and Operations within the organization. This will include running current audits, developing new audits and helping to develop financial quality assurance practices before coding release of OrthoFi’s financial suite.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Run internal reporting and accounting audit program, including SQL reporting and investigating irregularities in reporting both at a financial and patient account level
Work with the product/dev team on accounting and reporting product enhancements
Assist with internal and external training for new accounting and reporting product enhancements
Develop reporting for practices to help them measure the performance of the practice
Work with BI to build out analytics and measuring tools for internal and external use
Develop and maintain effective planning and analysis to tools to help leadership measure the performance of the company in mitigating financial errors
Serve as subject matter expert for Product and Development teams on all patient and practice level finance and accounting
Partner with Product QA team to develop approach for testing financial reporting data as part of comprehensive regression testing prior to bi-weekly software deployments
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required (Master’s degree preferred)
Senior Accountant or similar experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Advanced SQL and Excel proficiency
Ability to communicate and provide insight to Leadership and Clients
Knowledge of financial reports and accounting practices
