How You Fit In:

As part of the Finance Team of Reserve Trust you’ll play a critical role in providing leadership and adaptability to the finance team, with a focus on leading critical recurring operational accounting projects as well as unique projects linked to such areas as new business initiatives, process enhancement, control enhancement, etc. To be successful in this role, you will partner and collaborate across the entire finance team and provide insight, and leadership in the accounting department, which will include training and developing junior staff.


This role reports to the Sr. Accounting Supervisor and will partner and collaborate across the entire finance team and provide insight, and leadership in the accounting department, which will include training and developing junior staff.

 

What You’ll Do:

· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and appropriate documentation in line with SEC regulation

· Help drive monthly close process and assist with the monthly production and distribution of consolidated Financial Statements

· Manage Fiduciary reconciliation process and train other finance members on the process

· Preparation or review Journal Entries & Reconciliations

· Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable processes in support of the CFO

· Interact with internal reviewers (risk management) and external auditors to provide explanations and requested schedules

· Pro-actively identify and implement areas for process improvement

· Maintain and report on up-to-date documentation and procedures for the business

· Manage internal & external professional relationships

· Provide insight and best practices to cross-training initiatives

 

Qualifications:

· Preferred minimum of 3 years’ experience in one, or a combination, of the following: public accounting, operational accounting, or financial reporting

· Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related

· CPA preferred

· Well organized and detailed orientated, with the ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting demands

· Strong Excel / MS Office skills

· Experienced self-starter that demonstrates initiative

· Small-medium organization or start up experience

· Working with large data sets and familiarity with SQL

· Comfortable with remote working for the foreseeable future

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a base salary range of $65K-80K. Reserve Trust intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience and location.
