Position Description

Analyst will support Category Managers, and other procurement teams in tracking category performance through establishing category KPIs and targets, tracking performance and developing dashboards as well as managing data repositories. The individual will conduct spend analysis, identify cost savings opportunities and actively support the various phases of strategic sourcing such as supplier selection (RFP/RFI), contract management and vendor performance management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct spend analysis and identify cost savings opportunities

• Establish category KPIs and target and track performance to enable category manager and functional team improvement

• Manage data repositories and develop dashboards to enable visibility into category performance

• Participate in Procurement planning and savings optimization initiatives

• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of expenses and capital expenditures

• Develop consistent tools and templates to standardize and optimize the sourcing process

• Support the various stages of the sourcing process including managing and tracking supplier selection, contract negotiation, supplier implementation and vendor risk & performance management

• Support ESG & Supplier Diversity initiatives

• Perform financial health checks on suppliers

• Support supplier on-boarding and pre-qualification process

Qualifications

• No relevant industry experience required

• 1-3 years’ experience

• Proficiency in Financial Systems (e.g. Oracle, Salesforce)

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain or related field

• Exceptional organizational, project management, and time management skills with experience in managing a dispersed team and process to meet a given project’s objectives

• Results-driven mindset, with clear capabilities in problem solving and analytical thinking

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff with experience working with and delivering results in cross-functional teams

• Ability to adjust to rapid changes within the business and willingness to be hands-on, with no reservation to roll-up sleeves and perform out of scope duties to get the job done

• Capable of making difficult decisions and communicating them effectively to the team

• Exceptional ability to influence others through oral and written presentation. He or she must persuade, motivate and compel support for key ideas and initiatives by delivering clear, well-structured messages

• Confident and articulate; produces clear, accurate, and logically structured documentation tailored to the audience

• Ability to establish credibility and rapport with key internal and external stakeholders

• Base salary range: $44,900 - $65,000/annually

Required Competencies

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications
