Principal duties and responsibilities: - Lead the financial budgeting, monthly forecast, and Board presentation relating to bookings, revenue and cash.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Company’s business, including its risks and opportunities in its competitive environment.
- Lead the monthly analysis of new and renewal bookings by evaluating complex custom contracts and system data to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Lead the development of global reporting out of multiple financial and operational systems.
- Develop in-depth financial analysis for trends in bookings, revenues, and margins across the company’s businesses.
- Research and investigate financial and operational performance variance issues and assist business leaders in taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Develop and implement management dashboards, reporting and presentations to the Executive team, Senior leadership, and Board.
- Partner with Accounting during monthly close to ensure accuracy of financial results.
- Direct the development and implementation of FP&A processes and systems to support requirements of corporate, business or functional units, and International expansion
- Assist with due diligence during merger, acquisition, and refinance activities
- Build strong relationships across functions within the company and maintain an open flow of communication, to build a deep knowledge of current events in the business
- Become a trusted advisor to help other groups manage and scale their businesses

Required Experience: - BS or BA degree in finance or accounting. MBA preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years at a corporate FP&A level
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Minimum 3 years of /SaaS industry experience; at least 2 years analyzing bookings and revenue with complex custom contracts
- Experience at a midsize company with private equity ownership structure
- Working knowledge of accounting rules as it relates to the recognition of implementations, consulting, and recurring subscriptions Software revenue
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and Apttus
- Strong working knowledge of database querying and reporting tools such as Business Objects
- Experience forecasting bookings, revenue, P&L, and Cash Flow
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams
- Buy and sell side M&A due diligence and analysis experience
- Demonstrated ability to step-in and take ownership in a fast paced, results-oriented environment
