About the role
The Manager, Reporting Analysis & Insights covers a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from reporting to strategic analysis. This position will report into the Vice President of FP&A and play a key role in telling the Angi financial story internally and to external stakeholders. In your first year, our goal is to have you capable of querying our database for insights, communicate opportunities to leadership, mentor a team of 2-3, then establish reporting and ongoing monitoring to ensure proper execution of the strategy.
What you'll do:
- Develop new tools in order to drive insights and repeatable analysis while improving on our existing suite of financial and operational reports
- Prepare presentations that follow a logical, data-driven approach which clearly communicate analyses and recommendations to executives in the context of an overarching business case
- Working closely with business owners and FP&A team members to assess and understand drivers of variances to forecast and explain business trends
- Provide accurate and timely operational reports and analysis to sr. leaders and business stakeholders to support and drive strategic decisions and specials projects
- Actively drive the development, management, and improvement of FP&A practices and processes
- Manage and motivate a team of 2-3 direct reports
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years progressive experience related to corporate finance, consulting, corporate development, financial modeling and analysis and/or strategy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence effectively across various departments
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Quick learner with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong, demonstrable SQL skills and/or MS Access experience
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Looker and Tableau
Compensation & Benefits:
- The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000-$120,000, commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living
