International Accounting Associate
LogRhythm is seeking an International Accounting Associate to join our team in Boulder, CO. We are a leading provider of unified security intelligence and analytics solutions that empower organizations to automate the detection, prioritization and neutralization of cyber-threats that have penetrated the enterprise perimeter.
Overview:
The position is responsible for daily processing of invoices, expense reports, and journal entries on a multinational basis. This is a exempt position and reports directly to the Senior Manager of International Accounting. If you have an eye for detail, the ability to learn quickly, and strong accounting skills this position could be for you.
Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Processing invoices for all international subsidiaries, with an awareness of GST/ VAT regulations and ensuring compliance with approval policies
- Preparation of on time vendor payments
- Review and approval of international employee expense reports for all countries, ensuring expense policy compliance, reporting exceptions, and following up with employees as necessary
- Management of fixed assets including review of additions, adjustments and disposals
- Creation of financial journal entries to record bank payments, purchase order accruals, amortization, depreciation, intercompany transactions, and payroll journals
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure consistency of accounting process across our international subsidiaries
- Assisting members of the accounting team with projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Prepare information for audits, financial reports, VAT, and other tax returns as required
- Other duties as needed
Experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in a multi-national accounting environment
- Demonstration of strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a desire to learn
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Able to manage multiple priorities and multi-task between processing, research, ad hoc projects, and other duties as assigned
- Experience with NetSuite and Concur a distinct advantage (not required)
- Experience with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel (i.e. pivot tables and formulas)
- Spanish or German language skills an advantage (not required)
