How you’ll make an impact:
As our Controller, you’ll join our senior leadership team and will sit at the strategic table to lead our global Accounting function. We are not looking for Accounting to just report the score. At Cin7, we are looking for a proactive leader to run an Accounting team that helps drive business outcomes.
Does this sound interesting?
If so, we are looking for an exceptional Controller to join our fast paced, high growth global software company and own the following:
- Operational accounting across multiple geographies - you make sure the trains run on time for our employees, customers and vendors.
- A “best in class” month end close and consolidation process that feeds our monthly financial reporting cadence, with a focus on automation to minimize manual tasks.
- Implementation of new technical standards with consultation by 3rd parties as applicable.
- The relationship with our external audit team and the management of the audit process.
- Working with our 3rd party experts to drive an efficient tax compliance process across our varied geographies, including income, sales and value added taxes.
- Contributions to the preparation of key financial deliverables - KPI analyses, annual plans for forecasts and ROI assessments for various initiatives.
- Continued assessment and improvement of our control environment.
- Key relationship contacts with our PE firm, bank and PEO/EOR solutions.
- Evaluation and selection of ERP solutions to best manage our business.
Here’s what you’ll bring with you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience leading an Accounting team in Controller or scaled Assistant Controller positions; history with a fast growing business and PE/VC is a plus.
- Strong technical experience relating to implementing new technical standards and managing the audit process.
- Demonstrated history of scaling and developing teams - we want our people to grow with our business.
- A love for recurring revenue - experience in SAAS, or technology enabled businesses, is preferred.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, including preparing clear and concise reports, correspondence and other materials for various levels of the organization, including the Board of Directors.
In return, we offer:
- Competitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, and vision plans as well as a 401k.
- A flexible PTO policy, allowing you the time you need to recharge.
- A diverse team, where everyone helps each other and inclusion is a core value.
- A laid-back office environment (once we’re back to the office post-pandemic!) where collaboration is key.
- Frequent company sponsored events so you can get to know your coworkers.
