Fraud Analyst, ODX

 We are looking for someone who is interested in working on the Fraud Team for ODX! Help build a team and processes that prevents millions of dollars in fraud loss every month by going toe-to-toe with ODX’s ever-evolving adversaries. This position will be primarily focused on analyzing fraud cases for suspicious activity.

 As a Fraud Analyst at ODX, you will:

  • Work primarily with the Fraud Platform reviewing applications tagged as suspicious
  • Make independent decisions as to what applications are likely fraudulent, restrict accounts
  • Open fraud cases in Saleforce for accounts requiring immediate attention and noting each account for record purposes/tracking
  • Find undetected fraud by linking suspicious/fraudulent applications you identify to others at various stages in the process
  • Manage a small volume of investigations
  • Identify inconsistencies, trends and define processes and procedures.
  • Conduct pre-funding reviews of ODX loans
  • Skiptrace using available tools (CLEAR, Accurint, Google, SOS, etc)
  • Assist with the resolution of OFAC/OFSI Compliance cases

 Necessary qualifications for success:

  • Timely Investigation and resolution of Fraud cases
  • Display strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Decisions adhere to established procedures
  • Ability to generate performance improvement ideas and execute upon them
  • Adherence to all SLA's
  • Ability to handle large volumes of work without sacrificing quality; Not easily frazzled
  • Ability to make decisions and think out of the box when faced with obstacles.
  • Ability to leverage technology to obtain information
  • Understanding of the credit/lending business.
  • Familiarity with internal loan processing systems.
  • Ability to maneuver in Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of work without sacrificing quality; Not easily frazzled.
  • Ability to make decisions and think out of the box when faced with obstacles.
  • Ability to leverage technology to obtain information.
  • Strong time management skills during busy and slower periods throughout the day.
  • Strong communication skills to include the ability to have tough conversations when needed.
  • Skills in Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

 Nice-to-haves (not required):

  • Prior fraud analysis or investigation experience with an online lender, financial institution, merchant processor, or other SMB service organization
  • Experience writing communications in investigative narrative format
