Job Description

As the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial analysis of our portfolio of businesses, including maintaining Conga’s operating budgets, analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators, and performing monthly variance analysis with accounting leadership.  This position will add significant value to the company through cross-functional proactive review of planning processes, and performing analysis to inform management decisions.  This position reports to the Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the budgeting / planning activities of the organization
  • Develop budgets with department heads that align with Conga’s financial goals
  • Prepare, in partnership with Sr Accountant, financial statements and variance analysis for monthly operating reviews
  • Perform analysis and report on key performance indicators for multiple SaaS and Services Businesses, including retention rates, churn, customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value
  • Summarize and communicate complex topics in a simple manner
  • Contribute to and/or lead special projects and other ad hoc tasks
  • Process and analyze large data files and synthesize data into relevant information
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years’ experience in the SaaS software industry preferred
  • 4+ years of general financial experience preferred with departmental budget process and preparation, and financial analysis
  • General knowledge of corporate accounting and financial systems and processes 
  • Proficiency and aptitude for applicable software (QuickBooks, Gmail, Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with Salesforce.com report generation
  • Experience in the process of Mergers & Acquisitions a plus
  • Ability to engage across all levels of leadership and stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Work both independently and in groups, and collaborate with team members in order to achieve departmental goals
  • Work in a complex and changing organization and adapt to changes in structure and work priorities
  • Positive and professional attitude; perform responsibilities with integrity
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
