We are currently looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Denver based team.As Financial Planning & Analysis Manager you will report to Senior Director of Finance & Accounting and will play an integral role in supporting PointsBet's continued growth and success.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
• Provide robust reporting to support our monthly actuals analysis and forecasting, and annual budgeting processes
• Execute monthly accounting close procedures for multiple entities (reconciliation, journal entries, and analysis)
• Prepare presentations in which analyses are precisely explained for an executive audience
• Analyze and track results relating to year-on-year growth, performance to budget and forecast across a broad range of metrics in support of the business.
• Collaborate with Online Sportsbook and Casino stream leaders to develop detailed budget and forecast models to drive high quality decision-making, and closely monitor business performance.
• Partner with leadership to provide corporate & operational analysis and innovative ideas to help achieve the overall growth and performance strategy.
• Support business unit decision-making with proactive analytical projects
• Ensure consistent management reporting and confidence in the accuracy and integrity of the internal financials
• Contribute to the continuous process improvement and scaling associated with the rapid growth of the business
• Actively communicate with and listen to all levels of the organization and across all functions.
• Analyze data sets, identify, and understand impacts to business, and develop recommendations
• Support the Senior Director of FP&A in evaluating and identify financial trends, highlight opportunities for improvement
• Support financial modelling and analysis by owning key financial models
• Monitor and update corporate metrics and KPIs to reflect financial performance
• Prepare other analysis and economic evaluations as requested
SKILLS WE SEEK
• BA/BS degree in accounting and/or finance
• CPA preferred
• Minimum 5-8 years' experience or relevant experience in Gaming or Casino
• 2 years of forecasting and variance analysis
• Public or Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
• Experience working with large data sets
• Experience in the gaming / casino industry a plus
• Proven ability to effectively interact with senior management in a dynamic environment
• Intermediate to advanced excel skills a must
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to build well thought out PowerPoint decks to tell the story on complex business issues
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Ability and passion to combine superior financial accounting and analytical skills and business savvy to deliver results
• Superior communication skills including to connect with and listen to all levels of the organization and across all functions
