Overview of the position:
In our new role on the Finance team you will have the opportunity to work with some high performing, dedicated individuals striving to make Scaled Agile and our surrounding community great. You will be accumulating and deciphering data from Salesforce, Quickbooks and other means, creating meaningful, measurable metrics and helping the company plan and visualize its future.
What you will be doing:
- Data management work with Finance and IT to develop and maintain databases that support business analysis, for most aspects of the Company including marketing, sales and partner teams
- Statistical modeling develop models to describe the relationship between independent and dependent variables
- Identification of opportunities for process improvement and innovative solutions to business challenges
- Research and develop statistical learning and Machine Learning models for data analysis
- Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis.
- Understanding information needs and extracting data from a variety of sources in order to create analytics deliverables that meet those needs
- Special Projects for various data driven projects
Skills and experience that are important for this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math or related field
- Expert level in excel. Microsoft Access a plus.
- 0-2 years’ practical experience with SAS, ETL, Data Processing, Database Programming and Data Analytics or related education
- Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis
- Skilled in Reporting and Data Visualization
- Experience with common data science tools like (but not limited to) R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.
- Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modeling skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Must have a demonstrated ability to work well in a high performing team and with people in other functions, as well as thrive in a fast-paced environment

This position is located in our corporate headquarters and learning center in Boulder, Colorado.
