Financial Analyst III
Job Description:
Arrow is looking for a experienced Financial Analyst to provide financial planning, reporting and analysis support for the Digital/eCommerce division. The position helps drive the ongoing standardization and improvement of reporting processes and business metrics. Other responsibilities include involvement and presenting at monthly management meetings, and providing strong support of internal customers by answering questions and providing financial guidance. What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide financial/business support to executive business management through the management of the annual budget process, monthly forecasting and close processes, as well as other critical areas needed to run the business
- Executive Meeting Prep and Leadership: Assist in the preparation of Executive- level presentations and meetings, such as quarterly business reviews, and engage with Senior leadership in understanding and representing the financial metrics and results.
- P & L Analysis: Conduct independent analysis and interpretation of the business unit P & L and its components when requested by Finance leadership or Business. Helps to identify and articulate risks and opportunities relevant to the forecast period
- Reporting: Produces business unit reports indicating analysis and understanding of business trends, offering useful business insights/conclusions. Assist in the monthly close process by working with the accounting team to ensure accuracy in financials
- Planning and Forecasting: Support leadership in the annual budget process, working closely with business partners across functions. Understand the various elements of the P & L and B/S and their relationship and provide detailed analysis of the data to the business unit leaders.
- Deal Analysis: Employ knowledge of financial metrics such as ROWC, cost to serve, etc. to create models used to assess profitability of acquisition, transaction pricing, extended terms, and other deals and recommend more profitable alternatives. Assist with financial modeling improvements in planning and forecasting to enhance process efficiency, support new initiatives and to accurately capture changing business economics and structure
What We Are Looking For
- Experienced Analysts with 5-7 years of experience, preferably in a larger, complex public company
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- Ability to meet high pressure deadlines when necessary
- Ability to take direction well, work independently more often than not, and manage multiple priorities and assignments in a timely and efficient manner
- Problem solving skills to help in generating innovative & effective solutions geared towards addressing the needs of the department and internal customers
- High sense of professionalism as this is a highly visible role and interacts with senior leadership team
- Flexible and sets high standards for work responsibilities
- Ability to adapt easily to change
- "Can-do" mentality with a strong sense of teamwork and thrives in a dynamic environment
The Skills That Will Help You Succeed Even More
- Fortune 500 Business Finance / FP&A experience
- CPA and/or Public Accounting experience
- Hands on experience with Oracle ERP, Hyperion
