ANGI Homeservices operates 10 brands in eight countries, and is headquartered in Golden, Colo. The Financial Analyst, FP&A will sit in our Golden, CO office.

The Financial Analyst:

Our business is complicated, with more than 15 million homeowner service requests annually, and a dynamic internet landscape with rapidly-changing customer preferences and habits. As our Financial Analyst, you will report to one of our Managers of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A).  You will play a critical role in the monthly forecasting and annual planning of financials and metrics, and answer financial questions that impact our business.  This role will focus on HomeAdvisor’s operating expenses and provides an excellent foundation to learn about HomeAdvisor and the FP&A function.

 Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with FP&A team members and business owners to explain business trends and determine drivers of variance to forecast and prior years
• Leading monthly operating expense review meetings with department management and updating our operating expense forecast
• Assisting with the development, management, and improvement of financial models, forecasts, and budgets
• Providing information and analysis to the business to support and drive strategic decisions
• Synthesizing and communicating financial and operational goals and results to business leaders throughout the organization, including marketing, operations, sales and corporate support functions
• Providing accurate, timely reporting to executive team on a weekly and monthly basis to ensure that real-time business decisions can be made based on sound financial data
• Partnering cross-functionally with accounting to understand the accounting treatment of various transactions and improving our forecast accuracy

 Responsibilities include:

• 2+ years of professional experience in a financial/accounting/business analysis role
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical, problem-structuring, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of accounting and US GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience merging information from numerous sources, working with incomplete data, and structuring and conducting analyses
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Experience with SQL, VBA or other programming languages a plus
