As our company grows, there will be opportunities for this individual's role to grow. The position is in downtown Boulder, just a few blocks from the Pearl Street Mall. This person will be responsible for providing effective day-to-day execution of payroll tax processes and activities for our household employer clients, and for maintaining good customer relationships by handling questions and concerns with accuracy, urgency and professionalism. Responsibilities include: • Complete and submit online applications and reports to obtain FEIN, set up employer accounts and file tax reports on behalf of our customers. • Work with state, federal and local agencies to resolve customer account issues. • Answer customer service calls and emails. • Identify and bring forward opportunities for process improvements to more efficiently execute the overall payroll tax process. • Train new staff that will support the position. Position Requirements: • 3 years of experience in payroll processing or accounting preferred. • Obsessive attention to detail required. • Strong skills working with technology. • Ability to explain tax and payroll concepts to customers without accounting background. • Patience and kindness in working with customers.
