We are looking for a growth oriented and data driven Director of Payment Services and Reconciliation to join our team who has strong interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven ability to navigate fast-paced change in order to quickly evaluate scenarios and makes decisions.
As this role is located in Fort Collins, CO, we ask that you be local or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight and execution of a timely and accurate daily settlement account reconciliation process
- Maintenance of the settlement account reconciliation subledger (once selected and implemented).
- Management of money movement processes including optimization of working capital.
- Continuous review of current processes to identify and implement improvements that drive efficiencies in time to process, working capital and COGS
- Selection, development and oversight of Payment Services staff.
- Interaction with the Company’s auditors, regulators and customers to demonstrate and support sound control environment.
- Support Finance and Accounting to streamline the monthly close process and enhance management reporting to provide line of sight to operating results on a near real-time basis.
- Liaison with Engineering / Product organizations to create appropriate payments services and reconciliation processes for all new products.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Finance, Accounting or other relevant experience
- BA/BS degree preferred in Finance, Accounting or related major
- Big4 and/or public company experience
- Experience in the payments industry
- Experience in a scale-up environment
- Strong interpersonal skills along with intellectual curiosity
- Proven ability to navigate through fast-paced environments and quickly make decisions
- Willing to travel to Fort Collins, CO as much as required to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
Recommended but not required:
- CPA highly desired
