Director, Order to Cash (Transactional Accounting)
As Director of Order to Cash (Transactional Accounting) you will manage the team through the order to cash cycle and ensure that all financial transactions are executed and documented accurately and timely. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all billing, fulfillment, order management, collections, cash applications and accounts receivable operations. The Director of Order to Cash will focus on implementing standardize processes and procedures and continuously improve the financial and operational processes of the group. It is important that the person that fills this role is hands on and able to contribute as both manager and individual contributor, within his/her team as well as cross-functionally, most notably with other general and administrative areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage billing, fulfillment, order management, collections, cash applications and accounts receivable operations
- Manage processes for assessment and extension of credit, collection of receivables, application of cash received and AR/DSO forecasting
- Establish goals and monitor key performance metrics to measure the quality and efficiency of the invoicing, fulfillment timing, credit and collection processes
- Billing Process optimization and Revenue Leakage Elimination
- Ensures credits and/or rebill processes are streamlined processes that are handled accurately in a timely manner
- Prepare and review reports with senior management
- Actively manage and develop team through setting challenging goals and maintaining accountability in order to meet companywide objectives
- Work with all levels of functional management within the Company to create an environment conducive to a service-oriented culture and continuous improvement
- Leverage and improve financial systems and related processes
Professional and Technical Competencies
- Experience managing and strategizing for Order to Cash (o2c) functions including but not limited to Billing, Fulfillment, Order Management, Collections, Cash Application and related finance functions

Experience & Education Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant accounting experience required
- Minimum of 7 years of management experience
- Foundational public accounting experience preferred
- Experience with ERPs systems (NetSuite desirable but not required)
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce desirable)
- Experience in the software as a service industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
