The Role:

The Director of International Accounting will partner directly with the Chief Financial Officer, VP Finance and the leadership team to develop and manage the accounting process across all international sales channels. This position will lead and provide financial guidance and support to the Company as we grow rapidly in international markets.

Responsibilities:

• Management of the entire international accounting function.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and reporting responsibilities for international units.
• Prepare monthly consolidation for PopSockets.
• Assist in building out the international financial infrastructure, including personnel and information systems.
• Assist in developing the Company’s accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Work with outside CPAs and internal international personnel on transfer pricing issues.
• Coordinate with international subsidiary general managers and outside accountants for budgeting, reporting and bank matters.
• Assist in establishing international subsidiaries
• Set up and monitor international bank accounts, including bank balances.
• Work with international accounting firms and Company personnel to complete all accounting transactions and financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting required.
• Experience working with international subsidiaries required.
• Experience preparing consolidations required.
• International travel required.
• Understanding of VAT required.
• Experience with transfer pricing preferred.
• SEC experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV a plus.
• Consumer products experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate well and work with both international and domestic personnel required.
