Director of Internal Audit
We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to lead Ibotta’s internal audit program as Director of Internal Audit to contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.
What you will be doing:
- Embrace and uphold Ibotta’s Core Values: Integrity, Boldness, Ownership, Teamwork, Transparency & Advocate for Savers
- Own all aspects of planning and coordinating SOX and internal audit of controls and procedures, investigations, risk assessment, and development of internal audit program.
- Implement internal audit action plans, actively collaborating and training stakeholders across the organization on control implementation, execution and maintenance of the control environment.
- Report to the Audit Committee on the status of Internal Audit's activities, results of audits, progression of the audit plan and control findings.
- Lead Internal audits risk assessment and planning process identifying financial and operational risks, while considering changes in the business and emerging risks.
- Ad-hoc audits, fraud investigations, process improvement initiatives, and other projects as requested
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance measures and testing requirements are met timely
- Work with external auditors to streamline audit procedures and improve audit timeline
- Compile and analyze data on risk and organizational trends
What we are looking for:
- 8-10+ years of experience in Accounting, including 3+ years managing internal audit
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CIA or CPA required
- Deep knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for publicly traded companies in the United States.
- Experience working with advanced accounting and financial processing tools, such as ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and audit committee
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal

Additional Details:
- This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, profit sharing and equity.
- Base compensation range: $130,000-$150,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base compensation.
