Director of Finance, FP&A
The Director of Finance (FP&A) will coach, mentor and lead a group of FP&A Associates and is responsible for providing timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of financial and operating performance. This position works closely with the CFO and Executive team to ensure fiscal compliance with federal, state, foundation, and private donation funds, as well as human resources and daily operations - to support the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the organization.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting process for company-wide P&L initiatives, in close collaboration with the CFO and broader company leadership teams
- Manage a team of analysts to revise and update financial models based on actual results, current market trends, and input from key cross functional leaders
- Oversee and develop a comprehensive set of investor and board presentation materials
- Perform deep dive analytics on the company’s key operating expense areas (e.g., Marketing, Labor, etc.)
- Contribute to equity and debt raise processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelors degree in finance, business or a related field, MBA from a leading business school and/or CFA preferred.
- 7+ years in corporate finance or at a leading investment bank or management consulting firm
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and communicate with staff across all levels, functions, and external constituencies.

- Able to multi-task without sacrificing attention to detail or efficiency of work production.
- Possess a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity and a positive attitude.
- Anticipates and meets business demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical finance skills (finance theory, e.g. valuation)
- Proficiency in MS Excel, other MS Office products, including PPT, and related financial technology (e.g. SQL, Access, etc.)
