Position Description
The Director, Billing Assurance & Digital Transformation is a high profile role through which the application of analysis and automation will drive material efficiencies in the business while ensuring an Effortless experience for our customers. The right candidate will be responsible for developing controls and providing oversight for operational billing; job tasks will include working with business partners to review and improve existing processes, analyzing billing flows and data to identify discrepancies, and presenting discoveries and driving solutions. The role will coordinate and manage the development and implementation of automation to streamline processes and ensure data integrity. The role will transform billing, as well as ancillary processes, resulting in fundamental changes to how teams operate. The role requires strong analytical and project management skills, advanced Salesforce.com experience, a process improvement mindset, and effective communication.
Responsibilities
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience including, but not limited to:
- Development and assistance in the implementation of automated quality assurance/quality control, exception management, and reporting.
- Understand, utilize, and maximize our data, Oracle Financials, and Salesforce.com capabilities to optimize the billing workflow and overall invoicing process.
- Serve as bridge between Billing and Billing Operations as it relates to business needs, technical capabilities and enhancements.
- Actively assess processes and performance across the organization to pinpoint additional optimization opportunities and project manage their development and implementation.
- Establish and track key metrics and effectively prioritize process improvements and automation projects to drive immediate and material efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or technical field.
- 7+ years data analysis/project management experience; experience in operational finance principles preferred; Telecom experience preferred.
- Ability to coordinate across teams and disciplines to drive process improvements and automation.
- In-depth experience with Salesforce.com reports and dashboards.
- Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel and G-Suite applications; experience with Oracle Financials preferred.
- Strong financial acumen and a passion for data.
- Must be highly organized and a strong communicator both written and verbal.
