AMP Robotics is hiring a Controller reporting to the Chief Financial Officer to focus on to lead the Company’s accounting function and build a strong internal control structure in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment. A self-starter, focused on continuous improvement, this individual will have a strong technical accounting background and with experience in the Hardware business. Responsible for accounting operations, GAAP compliance, internal reporting, and internal controls, this individual will also be heavily involved with managing the external audit relationship.
As our Controller, you will work to:
- Own the global financial close process, including year-end audit and the preparation of internal / external consolidated financial statements.
- Manage annual audit process and oversee preparation of audited financials.
- Develop, implement and maintain the internal systems and financial controls for scalable growth.
- Partner with FP&A to ensure accurate reported results and forecasts and provide management with timely information for effective strategic decision making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
- Ensure consolidated financial statements are in accordance with U.S. GAAP reporting requirements and company policies.
- Establish/refine, monitor and enforce appropriate internal controls, policies and procedures.
- Assess financial systems and process enhancements and drive improvements throughout the accounting organization.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current accounting pronouncements, GAAP and other compliance issues.
- Support ad hoc special projects as required.

The successful candidate will have:
Required:
- Strong technical accounting skills with demonstrated revenue recognition experience, as well as solid knowledge of internal control frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, clear and precise in communication, tailor communication to the audience.
- Strong experience working with ERP systems (Quickbooks Online, NetSuite).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
Preferred:
- Public accounting experience with a Big 4 or nationally recognized accounting firm and CPA Highly Desirable.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) required in Accounting or Finance.
Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant work experience, including at least three years of Controller experience.

Salary & compensation information: $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience.

Part-Time / Hourly Employees
