The Granicus Finance team is a high performing group that enjoys partnering with teams to assist with the Company's objectives. We are looking for a leader to ensure successful delivery of accurate financial data to our owners and management. The ideal candidate would have previous controller experience, be resourceful, flexible with requests, enjoys solving problems, is effective at managing relationships and communicates well with others.
What You'll Do:
- Manage global accounting operations, including month end close, procurement, billing and collections, and cash disbursement activities
- Implement efficiencies to improve accuracy of financial metrics reviewed by management
- Perform, Manage and complete tasks related to acquisitions, including: executing acquisition transaction payments, assessing acquired company balance sheets, integration of operations, coordination of activities for purchase price valuations and allocations
- Mentor team members to achieve set deadlines as well as meet their career goals
- On a quarterly basis, provide bank covenants calculations and financial statements to lenders
- Complete transfer pricing calculations on a quarterly basis and coordinate with tax experts to complete estimates for ownership
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
- Manage NetSuite and other financial applications setup and user level permissions
- Coordinate and manage efforts with external auditors and internal team
- Assist with ad hoc request from the Business Systems and Contracts Renewals team
Who You Are:
- You have 10+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a role as a controller or other senior financial role
- You have experience with Mergers and Acquisitions, including integration of acquired operations
- You have intermediate MS Office skills, strong Excel, and experience with NetSuite is a plus
- You possess a high degree of accuracy and problem-solving skills
- You have proven project management skills including communicating issues and potential solutions to others
- You demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
- BA/BS in Accounting with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles & procedures required
- CPA or CMA required
- Software industry experience preferred
