Who we're looking for...
The Controller at BombBomb will Support the CFO in building the company around the strategic and tactical goals set forth by the management team. Support financial decisions of the company by providing timely and accurate financial data on the status of the company, based on reliable and consistent controls and procedures.
What you will do...
- Provide timely, relevant, reliable and audit ready financial statements.
- Manage audit relationship and achieve an unqualified opinion, on time and without material adjustments post internal close.
- Ensure ASC 606 compliant revenue recognition.
- Ensure the integrity of the company’s financial information by putting in place, and enforcing written standard procedures and controls.
- Prepare a monthly reporting package which includes GAAP financial statements, budget to actual variance results and recommendations on corrective action if needed.
- Lead budget process by creating budget tools, work with departments to collect data, consolidate and report it.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate all operational accounting functions and staff.
- Ensure sales tax compliance.
- Support other departments by providing tools and practical solutions for company initiatives.
- Evaluate and orchestrate accounting system upgrades and implementations.

Our ideal candidate will be or have...
- 8-10 years of progressively responsible accounting roles
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Skilled working with various financial software systems.
- Advanced abilities in Excel
- High degree of discretion, confidentiality, professionalism and passion for success
- CPA or CMA preferred
